Have I mentioned how much I love Hobby Lobby? {Sigh}
Check out this $12 upgrade to a beloved, old dresser–yet another example of Decorating with Junk…
This little dresser lives in our upstairs hallway. It’s one of the many awesome pieces we scored on Craigslist after we first moved to our new home in Northern Virginia back in 2009.
{Read more about that here: The Red Hutch: God’s Grace and Backdoor Clutter.}
For a while now, I’ve been toying with the idea of painting this fun little dresser, but Mr. Native Texan is against the idea. He so rarely has a strong opinion about my decorating, that I decided it was best not to press the issue.
Plus, it saves me some work! 🙂
But I did feel like the space was a bit too dark. The white window and the light-colored lamp shade helped (see first picture at the very top), but I was never really crazy about the knobs on the dresser.
So when knobs were 50% off at Hobby Lobby one recent week, I picked out new cuties for the Old Dresser. It’s not a huge deal in the grand scheme of things, but I think it made a big difference!
Hooray for Hobby Lobby, their awesome knobs and hardware, and their fantastic sales!
