Holiday stovetop simmer blend ingredients
Four simple ingredients come together to make a wonderful smelling blend for your stovetop. You may already have some of them on hand! The others are easy to pick up at the grocery store.
- 1 orange
- 1/2 cup cranberries
- 1 tablespoon whole cloves
- 2-3 cinnamon sticks
How to use
- Slice or quarter the orange, then add all ingredients to a medium pot with water.
- Simmer on low and refill water as needed.
- Afterwards, be sure to toss the used ingredients in the compost pail!
Gifting ideas
We love to package up the ingredients into a festive gift box or bag, then add ribbon and a printable tag, and deliver to our neighbors. I love this idea because anyone can use it. And it avoids the dilemmas of dietary restrictions or wacky taste preferences.
This holiday stovetop simmer blend is also cost-effective for making in bulk. Give it to your neighbors, family members, teachers, friends, or anyone on your gift list this year. It also makes a thoughtful hostess gift.
Packaging ideas:
- take out box
- gift box
