Easy Kid-Friendly Holiday Mocktail

This holiday punch is perfect for Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s, Valentine’s Day, or whenever the fancy strikes.  Arranging the ingredients couldn’t be simpler, and the end result looks absolutely gorgeous and supremely festive.

Really, you can use any ratio you prefer.  I like to mix about two parts cider to one part orange juice.  And in my opinion, it’s worth it to track down freshly pressed, unpasteurized cider and juice.

Such a fancy drink needs an equally fancy setting, but don’t worry because it’s super easy to pull off.  I lay out a vintage runner I picked up years ago, and top it with a weathered metal tray.

Next, I pour the cider and orange juice into separate glass pitchers.  Cranberries go in a small cut glass bowl with a vintage spoon.  Petite coffee spoons are laid out for stirring, and glass tumblers and stemware flank the tray.

You’ll probably have different materials to work with, so have fun experimenting with whatever you have on hand.  Greenery is always a nice touch, too.

Whether you’re hosting special dinner guests or simply your own immediate family, everyone will enjoy your festive drink station.  It gives guests something to do and something to hold, which often helps people feel at ease.

Plus it tastes amazing, and the colors really pop and add a bit of festive ambiance.

I hope your family enjoys this easy kid-friendly holiday mocktail!

Yum! We just made some homemade apple cider for Thanksgiving and picked up some oranges and cranberries from the store. Totally making a batch of this for the kiddos! Thanks for the simple recipe!
