I have been waiting for months to check out this book from our local library.  At one point, the waiting list for Paleo Cooking from Elana’s Pantry: Gluten-Free, Grain-Free, Dairy-Free Recipes included 18 people.  18!

And just for the record, I’m fairly certain I am the reason this book even belongs to our library–they purchased Elana’s latest book in response to my “Suggest a Title” submission. You’re welcome. 🙂

Finally it’s my turn to peruse the pages of this simple cookbook from one of my favorite gluten-free bloggers.  I wasn’t disappointed!

In fact, I’ve already ordered my own copy for about $10 on Amazon.

Mustard Salmon Fillet

While we’re not Paleo here at the Yankee Homestead, I do like to limit our grain intake.  And since I can be confident that Paleo recipes are free of gluten, they often work well for us as-is or with a few tweaks.

Check out these recipes I’m hoping to try in the near future:

  • Nut-Free Bran Muffins
  • Paleo Bread
  • Paleo Tortillas
  • Nut-Free Crackers
  • Garlic Crackers
  • Colorful Winter Salad
  • Sesame Noodles
  • Honey Lemon Chicken
  • Sesame Fish Sticks
  • Mustard Salmon Fillet
  • Classic Salmon Burgers
  • Bacon Tart
  • Basil Cream Sauce
  • Tangy Peanut Sauce
  • Coffee Ice Cream
  • “Peanut Butter” Ice Cream
  • and more!

What’s your favorite gluten-free or paleo cookbook?
