You may have noticed a lack of blog posts over the past few weeks…Not to worry, I’m still here!

The truth of the matter is, it’s extra busy around the homestead these days.  I’m the first to admit I’m no superwoman, and sometimes all those balls just won’t stay up in the air. Sometimes you just gotta cut some things out.  Can I get an amen?

Mostly, our latest addition is now twice as mobile and half as sleepy.  Baby Bro is crawling all over the place and has transitioned to just one nap per day.  I knew it was coming, and you’d think that with a third child I’d be better at these transitions, but oh my stars, it’s totally rocking my world.

There is also our summer garden harvest to contend with, an exploding essential oil business to manage, seasonal family trips to plan for and pack for and embark upon, and a few big changes in the works here at Yankee Homestead.

And so, my friends, I’m taking a short break to work on some projects, chase a speedy crawler, and enjoy these long summer days with my boys.  I hope you’re doing the same!  Perhaps minus the speedy crawler.
